So Scantraxx thought instead of contacting me and telling me to please take down one of their songs that I edited just for fun, they'd just give me a Soundcloud Strike without any warning. 
I had 0 intentions to make money from that little edit nor claim that the song was mine, but well, can't change it now. 
Now since I still like the work on the edit that I did, I thought I may actually start removing each part of the original bit by bit and turn it into a complete own remix. Here is one part that isn't in the original as such!

Stereocode & System Of Loudness - Ode To Hardstyle

Hey guys, I've been on radio silence for a long while again, and I just want to let you know what happened, and why I'm not gone yet. First things first.
This is a Project I started 2 years ago, when Memorize was going to release a bunch of remixes of his tracks, and I never pulled through finishing it, keep on reading on more detail what's going on with this track. 

Now what happened in that time? What happened to Phenix?

I left my busy job as a craftsman, and instead pursued my dream of working in an Audio field, and became live Sound engineer/event tech, I started my own company doing small events with my own gear, and built a studio together with my dad, recording bands and mixing them. Basically, since then, I'm working as event tech for a company, and as event tech/ sound engineer in my free time, which I love doing, but it basically leaves me without any spare time. I will continue to be somewhat busy with this for some time to come, but I already have plans to create more spare time for the things I love doing: Recording, Mixing, Producing and doing live gig mixing for my own company, so once I'll sort things out, I can't wait to come back with full power ;)

I learned a huge lot from working in live audio, learning about acoustics, the physics behind speakers and microphones and so much more, and I'm really just getting started yet. This gave me a big boost of motivation to start working on some music my own again, but then a small, big disaster happend. 
While backing up my hard drive with a lot of music I worked on recently, there went something wrong and a lot of stuff was lost, my installation of FL got screwed up and whatnot, which put me out of business of producing for a good while again now.

But I also told myself that this setback, will at some point be the event that gave me a fresh new start. And while I'm working on getting everything back to work again, and start creating stuff better than ever before, I thought I'd see what stuff survived that little personal hard drive apocalypse. 

I figured, that for most of the stuff I worked on, but never released, the project files are gone, or the plugin installations and such have changed so much that they basically have become unusable. 

So I thought, in order to move on, I want to at least throw out some of that unfinished stuff, it would be too much of a pity to let all that hard work just rot on some hard drive.

So here we go, the first, completely unfinished thing I salvaged, there's gonna be mix/equing issues, vastly empty parts and such, but there's also some nice things already there. 

Maybe I'll revisit some of those lost projects and revive them, but for now, i think I'll focus on making a fresh new start, and start kicking stronger than ever before.
