Hitting the ground running at the start of 2024, Darin Epsilon's highly regarded label celebrates Volume 8 of its successful series "Perspectives Around the World".

Opening the 5 track tour across 5 continents, Bound (AUS) are a Melbourne-based duo who began their musical journey together in 2019.  Sharing a passion for Melodic Techno and Progressive House, a clutch of releases has quickly found success on the likes of Area Verde, UGENIUS, and Polyptych.  

Making their Perspectives Digital debut, "Awaken" is redolent in Bound's "deep driving basslines", as a chunky groove lays the foundation for an emotive lead line to make its presence felt, before a haunting vocal phrase is repeated in chanted pattern across the 6 minute piece.  Building through the breakdown to a rousing zenith, "Awaken" then drops back into its powerful rhythmic undertone.

"Presenting their third release of the year, Phenomena welcomes Elias Erium back to the label for a new EP entitled 'All Equal'. On the strength of 2023's 'Echoes', a five-track showcase to end the year in celebration of the label's five-year anniversary, the Canadian artist would begin 2024 with the well-received 'Follow the Signal'. Fully formed within the confines of his Montreal studio, the February release would find Elias continuing his exploitative path into melodic house & techno, with a definitive lean into the darker and more peaktime oriented aspects of the genre. Favoured by a cross-section of DJs from Mind Against to Markus Schulz and John OO Fleming, the two-track showcase would set the course for what promises to be another standout year for the Canadian. With the project's introductory single 'Stimulate' landing in April, Phenomena now unveils the full 'All Equal' EP, alongside a remix from label debutant Tyler W. The title selection 'All Equal' finds Elias showcasing a deeper side of his repertoire. Created with a tasteful sense of emotion and restraint, it's a rhythmic coax of fluttery motifs and feathered percussion which set the course for a memorable main break, one where Elias showcases his melody crafting prowess."

Elias Barouche, producer and label boss of Phenomena, has emerged from his country’s avant-garde electronic landscape as one of Canada’s rising musical mavericks. Elias Erium (previously known as Solid Stone), is an artist moniker for contemporary electronic music. Drawing from his roots of house, techno and progressive; while taking inspiration from the new and emerging melodic dance music styles. Elias has forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of melody and groove, drawing the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. Noted for his attention to detail and clever rhythmic coaxes making each one of his creations an incredibly absorbing experience.
