t’s with great pleasure that we can welcome the formidable talent that is Ed:it back to the CIA fold. His last release for the label came a fair few years back now, in which time this fine producer has been slowly but surely honing his craft. Always one with an ear for the subtleties within the music and an ability to produce a range of styles, while his output may have quietened down over the last year or two, his work-rate in the studio appears to have done quite the opposite. These latest four tracks that he has given CIA seem to have many of the elements and personality traits of his earlier work, but with a further refinement and quality to them. 
‘The Keep’ comprises of four cuts, ranging from deep late night rollers, jungle inspired dub work-outs and all the way round to beautifully melancholic musical pieces. This body of work truly contains something for everyone, and while it nods to several of the important heritage points within our music, it sounds contemporary and cutting edge - the perfect middle ground for a constantly growing and developing musician.
