You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

This is my remix of Figgy's Breathe Slow. I l also work as a mastering engineer and actually mastered the original and got straight on the phone to the guys at Cr2 and asked about remixing it.  

I was very proud of this remix as I really felt I took an important step in developing my sound. I had this idea in my head of blending some vibes from Indie/Shoegaze bands like Foals and Friendly Fires, 80s Pop vibes from artists like Shura and Jessie Ware with my trademark love of 80s Boogie grooves. With this remix I felt I really heard this concept coming together. 

It actually started off as 2 separate ideas - the 80s Boogie vibe and the Slow Jam idea you hear in the breakdown but eventually I put them together and it seemed to work. 

Best enjoyed reclining in the sun!

Affkt is one of the key names in the Suara's history. Not only for been the mastering engineer of the label since a couple of years, but for his great contribution to our catalogue. Remixes, EPs, tracks on compilations or Showroom releases, this awesome Spanish producer is not a newby in our headquarters. He's probably one of the most eclectic producers of the current techno/house scene thanks to his unique ability to do big dancefloor bombs and blow your mind with infinite melodies and emotive beats. To be honest we prefer the 2nd option. Actually we really love Affkt's introspective and poppy tunes. And that's what he offer us "Jakla" and "Aoub": beautiful and emotive stuff. What Affkt's does best in our opinion. Two German deep tech house stars like Gorge & Tube & Berger are on the remix duties. Today, we're presenting you the first release of our homie Monsoon Season from wintery Lithuania on our imprint: Too Cold For Love. And no, they don't have monsoons there, but they can wish. Consequently, he flew in ice queen Miss Bee to have her anti-balearic message come across intriguingly and hooky, hoping somebody will get her feet warm anytime soon. It didn't take us long to come up with an expert on topics below zero - Mr. Roberto Rodriguez hailing from Helsinki knows -despite the name- what it means to deal with matters accordingly. Last but not least, we couldn't stop our CEO, this time in a fur coat, from adding his two cents to the discussion. However, it remained unusually dark and mesmerising. Suck this, bikini girls.
