Wasted Dreams - No Lies (Constellation Lyra Remix) [Appointed Recordings]

In this piece the newly invented string instruments are playing in combination with flute, soprano voice and piano. The strings are being stretched between the beams of the mezzanine of the building and also hanging from the ceiling beams with heavy weights on them. The hanging strings surround the audience and musicians. A very special building HET VEEM (Van Diemenstraat 410, 1013 CR Amsterdam) - former warehouse, where the piece was premiered, inspired us to create these instruments and this composition. The concert was performed as a part of Toetsdestijds Concerten Series.

The second track in my Mom and Dad series and also the second track from an abandoned 2019 project, The Big Guy Likes Sci Fi is an nice slice of experimental IDM.

The cover features my dad (William Clark Sanford) and my cat Matrix (Matrix passed away in 2019 shortly after my mom). While most of my covers feature images superimposed 90s Photoshop style, this cover was actual shot and double exposed on a Holga 35 mm film camera and cross processed by me at Walgreens in 2008 when I worked there as a Photo Technician.

Just an improvisation with three Spitfire LABS Instruments, RAUM reverb and a calm mind. 
Didn't do that much mixing or any of that technical jazz, just the essentials if you will, so it could definitely be better but I don't care.
It was just an impro, and I didn't plan on releasing it, but then I wanted to and made a cover and I loved the combination of music, visual presentation and intention - so there ya go :P
I hope you like this little dream, and I hope to release more of those more simplistic ideas, cause there are lots and them going to waste would be a shame :/
