Alongside pushing the familiar label names you know and follow, Born On Road love bringing new faces with fresh energy into the family fold. This time, we’re introducing Bennie to the label, who is easily one of the most exciting talents to have emerged in the UK drum and bass scene over the past year. Capable of creating anything from a downright dirty roller to a piece of sublime liquid, it’s no wonder why Universal Music asked Bennie to remix Baby Queen’s “Colours of You” earlier this year (while still in his early twenties). Huge.

We couldn’t be more stoked to bring you “Flexin” – the first single from a bunch of Bennie productions we’ve just signed. You’ve probably heard this bassline flexing speakers at clubs and festivals over recent months, so now it’s time to unleash it into the world properly. Get your flex on to this.

We told you 4K was talented, and we weren’t lying! After introducing you to his stunning “Peace Of Mind” single, which saw the artist lay down his own vocals over his production, we’re very happy to reveal the track was taken from 4K’s debut EP, Not 4 The Industry.

Featuring four more productions shining a light on the versatility of 4K as a producer, this year-long project is arguably his most complete body of work yet. From the rolling liquid of “Desire” and “Fears” with Conni, to the dancefloor slapping basslines of “Industry” and “Selekta” – an energy 4K fans know him all too well for, and will have likely thrown a gun finger at when these tunes were road tested at Boomtown last year.

At Born On Road, one of the things we love is seeing the artists we work with grow their abilities to crazy levels, and we have no doubt 4K is going to follow a similar trajectory.
