Bass Coast 2014 Mix

Here's my application mix for this year's Bass Coast! Making this was a lot of fun. Keeping in mind the people that'll be listening to this gave me a goal to work towards and ultimately shaped the sound of this mix. Just as with last year's application mix, I'm quite proud of the end product. Enjoy!

Bass Coast 2015 Application Mix

Beholding Phil David DJ in a club is so much more enjoyable of an experience than watching your average, dozy, button pusher. Whether he's jumping off DJ booths which have really no business supporting more than two CDJs and a mixer, or screaming along to "Love At First Sight" by Kylie Minogue so much that he nearly forgets to put on the next song, Vancouver's favourite versatile DJ puts away any doubt that you came to the wrong party. His energy and his penetrating love of music new and old has got him residencies at places like the Fox Cabaret and the now-defunct Ginger62, and has him constantly a first pick for support when artists like Com Truise or Breakbot come through town. If you like your parties to be much more than standing around, plucking out which version of which song is playing, but still learn a few new tracks, find Phil David and you'll find a little more than you expect.
