A la sortie du cinéma, après avoir vu le dernier James Bond, il était clair pour moi, que James devait être immortalisé, après cette triste fin. D'où ce morceau, qui j'espère, évoquera l'atmosphère de 007.

Le Thème essentiel de ce morceau est donc James Bond : d'où le titre.
Pour les non francophones, "Thème et T'aime" se prononcent de la même façon.
"Thème" étant très commun et très souvent utilisé, "T'aime" s'imposait de soit.

Le titre "James Bond T'aime" basé, aussi, sur le thème de l'Amour, ne pouvait donc sortir que le jour de la Saint-Valentin. Et donc je dédie ce morceau à tous les oubliés de l'Amour.

J'espère que vous aimerez ce modeste morceau, et cette ambiance.

these are lesser used alt words version...i can't remember where i saw them but they were in my head and i'm sure i got them wrong, but hell, it's the folk tradition...file under impressionism :-)

Greetings my SC friends. 11 months ago I released my 100th song (https://soundcloud.com/grevusanjl/five-score-fanciful-frequencies-and-a-big-thank-you); a monumentally exciting moment in my musical adventures. In celebration, I opened it up to remixes. The response was greater than I had hoped for; and the remixes that came out of it were exciting, to say the least. :)

Unfortunately, one of them had to be removed from the host page in order to make room for newer works. But losing that remix forever was just too much of a bummer for me to accept, so I asked permission to host that remix here. 

Thank you very much Adrian, for giving me the opportunity and permission to re-publish your remix. It is a spectacular re-envisioning, in my humble opinion; and I'm honored to keep it alive and well here on my repost page. :)

Stultifera Navis (Das Narrenschiff = Ship Of Fools) refers to a book of the same title by Sebastian Brant (1457-1521), first published in 1494. The work was translated into latin in 1497.

('the road' is a recurring character in the 'movie')


the magi quotes the ancient nowist hymn 'death to the old guard'
(textual interpolations are indicated with [] square brackets 
scholars were divided on the interpretation in the universities of the celestial city)

after making-up with the other 2, over a small shandy
he tells tales of his youth in 'the east' , as dawn rises, (the 'gig' just a blur now already)
...his poor rendition also became nowist folklore :)) and is still a popular children's tale, with many variations of its words.....

Finally working the Volca Drum back into the mix after not having used it for a little while. I like the lofi effect it gives the drum beat. With this track I leaned a little heavier into the Vital VST I've been experimenting with, also used the old minilogue and microfreak. Thanks for listening!

I write, produce and play all my own stuff (unless otherwise stated), 'sing' if unavoidable, play vintage Tokai Strats mainly, PRS Torero, Steinberger, Gretsch G2627T, Classical, Fender Dreadnought, Yamaha and Rickenbacker basses, keyboards and sax. I use Native Instrument's Komplete Ultimate 14, Omnisphere 2 and my own organic samples. I love Hollow Sun's unique synths and samples too - The late Steve Howell's www.hollowsun.com 

I mix on Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's and HD 650's (closed and open headphones) when not making a bigger noise through Mackie studio monitors. I use Focusrite Clarett 2Pre ThunderBolt and Apogee audio interfaces, Neumann & iSK condenser & AKG dynamic mics. 

Hardware: Feb 1978 Marshall JMP 50W Combo, BOO (http://www.booinstruments.com) & BOSS stomps. Rack: Lexicon, Pod XT Pro, E-MU, Alesis, BBE.
