In 40 years of loving classical music, string quartets always seemed a bit chaotic to me; even structured, delicate, mannered Haydn, Mozart, seemed, to me, on the verge of flying out of control. Here is a bass quartet (I like the lower tones of the bowed instruments) that flirts with - no, hugs and squeezes - chaos.

It's just not funny anymore, the conspiracy theories..the hate filled blogs and social media posts..the absurd rhetoric that passes for political discussion these days
It is hard enough for people to get along as it is (for reasons that are not clear to me) but this background noise is making it impossible to survive.

I write, produce and play all my own stuff (unless otherwise stated), 'sing' if unavoidable, play vintage Tokai Strats mainly, PRS Torero, Steinberger, Gretsch G2627T, Classical, Fender Dreadnought, Yamaha and Rickenbacker basses, keyboards and sax. I use Native Instrument's Komplete Ultimate 14, Omnisphere 2 and my own organic samples. I love Hollow Sun.

I mix on Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's and HD 650's (closed and open headphones) when not making a bigger noise through my Mackie studio monitors. I use Focusrite Clarett 2Pre ThunderBolt and Apogee audio interfaces, Neumann & iSK condenser & AKG dynamic mics. 

Hardware: Feb 1978 Marshall JMP 50W Combo, BOO & BOSS stomps
