Paint It Black - RJ & The Soul, Live at the Fine Line

A single-take jam with the Arturia Drumbrute Impact, Moog Subharmonicon, Moog Grandmother (sequenced bass line), Moog Subsequent 37 and the Roland Juno DS-88. The Subharmonicon is run through a small pedalboard. For this clip, I'm using Timmy for some overdrive, the Strymon el Capistan and the Line 6 DL4 mkii for delays.

The pedals are connected to the HX Stomp using the 4 cable method. I'm using a Deluxe Reverb model on the Stomp with an Ownhammer IR, the Ganymede reverb model and the Tremolo/Panner model.

In post, I'm using various compressors from the Slate VMR Rack, the Slate VerbSuite reverb, Line 6 Helix Native for some delays. Final leveling was done with Slate FG-X 2.

A little track I made this evening using an acoustic IR (look it up if you don't know what that means). This was just plugging my acoustic in - no real mics used to record it. Pretty amazing acoustic sound for being direct.
