This is a new mix of The Tie That Binds...which is now officially the 5th section of The Dawn of Oblivion(a suite of songs that are part of The Cycle Of Strife Saga)...This song was recorded using my PRS Killer Quilt McTrem for melodies and solos and some rhythms and an amazing Mayones Regius Water 7 String on loan from the good people at Mayones/Rockbox...thanks DG for turning me onto these last year!! This might not be the final version that makes the CD as I'm impatiently awaiting my PRS 7 string which I might go back and re-record most of the guitar parts...Ampwise it's my Mesa/Boogie Mark V on the Mark IV setting through a Mesa/Boogie Rectifier oversized 4x12 and the Mark V on the Mark IIc+ setting through a Mesa/Boogie Rectifier 2x12 and a Mesa/Boogie Standard 4x12 with an Xotic Electronics EP Booster and BB Preamp to change things up a bit!! Hope you enjoy!!
