Really wanted to make an original cover art for this one but I just felt so proud of this song i wanted to upload it as fast as I could, so am using the old default cover art I made long ago for now.

Yeah as I said, I'm really proud of this one. This location is supposed to be a sort of "breath of fresh air", considering you reach it after the longest "dungeon" of the game, mountain chills, and even then, before that you had to travel through many, many locations without a way to come back. And finally, you reach your destination, to see the clear blue skies and the white land stretch before you. I tried to convey this feeling through this track, and for once I think I managed to make what i wanted to! Because it's a story important place, I also wanted to incorporate a small part of the main theme somewhere. I had a problem writing the piano break part of this song though, which https://soundcloud.com/danirbu-gomez was kind enough to help me with, or more accurately, he wrote that whole damn part. This is slowly starting to become more his soundtrack than mine, haha! But seriously though, without his help this wouldn't be nearly as good as it is, so be sure to thank him for me by following him too! Dude makes god tier music.

This location will be visited late in the game, which is an island floating in the sky, with it's ground being made of solid, walkable clouds. This whole phenomena is so far speculated to be the works of the wolves and their mysterious technology, especially as there's even an old temple created by them that's located on this island-cloud. Since it's such an interesting place, it became a tourist attraction, with an amusement park being built right in it's center, connected to the ground below by a long, bulky elevator. Due to such a thing costing a lot to be maintained, using it is really, really pricy. The only other way to access this island is by climbing the tallest mountain in the kingdom, one filled with many dangerous monsters. Unforunately for our duo, they need to climb that mountain anyway for their quest, so it's not like they had much of a say in the matter... Hey, at least they get to see some really nice sights afterwards!

this is one i really wanted to remake, as the previous version was almost earrapy at parts, with how loud certain instruments got, or how unfitting instruments sounded at parts. I changed them around, and also remade some bits of the melody. The melody before the song looped really urked me (and not only me, rip danirbu) and so I decided to completely change it, and with that I finally came out with something that I think sounds pretty nice. This song will play on the first area of the game after you leave Bearoo City, which will be sort of like your small view into the overworld, as it's mostly a straight path surrounded by tall cliffs. Due to this, not many monsters roam it, and it's a popular trading area, as it directly connects Bearoo City and Porcupine Town.

Vyn and Tara OST - Sunny fields, clear sky (Porcupine Passage Theme)

A track for pretty late into the game, an ancient wolf temple that utilises strange runes to manipulate wind and gravity. It's a very important location, housing various reveals regarding the mysteries the wolves were hiding, as well as plenty hard puzzles to figure out. Because it also is theme for a location related to them, it uses those familiar 5 notes present in other themes related to them as a leitmotif.

Vyn and Tara OST - Dolphin Shores

Second in the line of touched up old tracks. Changed the instruments and melody slightly.

It's for a location that appears way later in the game, where there's a strange island located high above the clouds, and on top of it, there's a huge resort filled with various fun side activities to do, and even more to explore. Therefore, I wanted to make a track that wouldn't be boring to listen to for a long time, and one that would give off the "fun" feeling of the place. I got inspired first by the track "Going Shopping in Ripple Town" from Super Mario RPG, but overtime it changed so much I don't think it really resembles that track at all ^^; Well good for me I guess, because that means this tune is more original than not :P

"Designing For" Theme Song

Did you guys know the Beanbean Kingdom is called Mameria in the japanese verison of Superstar Saga? now you do

This is a song for a reocurring location you can find in every town you visit in the game, a popular cafe serving a lot of various sweets you can only find there. They're pretty much this game's versions of the candy item from dream team and paper jam, restoring a bit of hp and sp at once. They also serve coffee, which just restores all your hp and sp, but you can't carry it with you. Though, Tara prefers to get hot chocolate instead. There's a cool mechanic to this one, where each time you order at the cafe in a new location, you'll get a small cutscene where Tara and Vyn will just converse about their journey so far. For this, I wanted to make a sort of jazz piano piece, that would incorporate the melodies of the main theme into it, that you could listen for a while. I felt like it would compliment the atmosphere well. But I don't know anything about jazz (or writing music in general), so I don't even know did I do anything right here asfdgh

The background is really unfinished and rushed, i know, I just wanted to make some unique icon for this one because I really like how this track turned out.

It's just a jingle for when you go to rest in the inn. Also uses a tiny part of the main theme, because I felt it'd be appropriate and it sounded nice.

New version, cuz I just didn't like the instrument choice i previously went with. I don't think synthesized bells fit caves too well, unless they're meant to be very icy, but for an ice cave I already made a song using those (https://soundcloud.com/phildeejay/vyn-and-tara-ost-the-caves-of-mt-chills) so here I instead changed that instrument to a piano that I thought sounded nice and fit the rest of the instruments better.
