Story behind the single.

"The song Phlex tape started off as a freestyle I did one night and at first it was just me and my bro on the song just vibing and freestyling about flexing and surviving. After getting good feedback from my friends on the catchy chorus, It ended up turning into a song, but soon after I went to the studio to get it mixed and mastered by runct.While at the studio I had a run in with Philgood, another dope rapper I knew from Houston. After getting him to listen to my song Phlex tape, he was interested in being featured in it since there was a lot of time left on the beat.  Overall I think Philgood was a good addition to the track and it sounds complete with his feature. We decided that a music movie would go dope with the song, unfortunately my brother wasn't able to do the video due to his demanding job, so we ended up doing another version of the song without him and used it for the video. Phlex tape is one of those songs that instantly gets the crowd jumping wild when the beat drops. Best played at clubs, In da whip,   or whenever you want to raise the level of Energy up.
