THE ACIDIZER @Snax Club, Berlin 17.01.1998 (Part 1)  pre-Ostgut/Berghain

This was recorded on a night at the first club where I used to spin records regularly, the BRAINSTORM. This was the only club in Hamburg, where you could hear Hardcore Techno and even the first Gabber records (but also some hand picked Techno, Hardtrance, Breakcore/Jungle), because all of the other clubs where electronic music was played turned to the more "melodic" side, which was pretty popular that time.

Unfortunately the only "thing" that was not fucked up in this club, when this set was recorded, was me, which made it very difficult to mix this kind of music properly (broken crossfader, broken pitch control, no separate eq for each channel etc. aaarrghhh!). But anyway, this is a selection you won't hear that often, I guess. 
During those times, my goal was to play the fastest possible electronic music around and I think I succeeded ;)

This is a kind of "House" track I recorded together with my homie "Buddy B." in 1992.

The only equipment we had were a record player, a sample keyboard and a six channel recorder. No computer or any other helping stuff was involved. Therefore the rhythm section does not vary in any way and we had to arrange the whole thing live in one attempt. 

No, we were not on drugs, but we couldn't take our efforts serious either (just in case, you're wondering about the sounds we used).

2LARGE PRODUCTIONS (Acidizer & Buddy B.) - Unnamed Track#1 from 1992

This is a kind of Techno track I recorded together with my homie "Buddy B." in 1992.

No, we were not on drugs, but we couldn't take our efforts too serious either (just in case, you're wondering about the sounds we used). 
And yes, as you might recognize from some of the samples we used - we spent some time in the '80s Rap scene.

Sorry for the wait! Here is the second part. Of course, also from cassette, but I'd say that the sound quality still is quite good for that. Otherwise, use your equalizer to optimize it for your ears.
