The Tribes II

I wrote this song quite a while ago. It's a pretty emotional piece, the title tells the story. A line in a Pink Floyd got me thinking about the moments we'll never get back. Every moment of our lives, we'll never get it back, and the more time you waste, the more it runs out.

We're Running Out of Time

A song I worked on with soundcloud's brofistnation. I wrote some of the keyboard part.

Appropriate Things

I wrote this whole thing in one sitting. It's highly influenced by Camel's "Lady Fantasy" and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. It's designed to be played with a looper, so I can play it alone live.

This is another song I wrote with brofistnation. Like Appropriate Things is more of our pscyh pop style rather than my personal emotional post-rock style.

Pensive

I wrote this song about a week ago, all in one sitting of maybe 8 hours. I broke up with my girlfriend of almost 2 years recently and this song was a way for me to examine my emotions, it's a display of the emotions I was feeling at the time.

Sorry about the lack of drums. Unfortunately they're one instrument I don't play. I'm working on getting a version with drums up, as I am looking for a drummer to play live with me

Spacewalk

Yo, my name is Phil and I try to write good music. A lot of this is just random guitar pro stuff and ideas that I like or want to actually record later. I love the long drawn out musical landscapes, my musical is emotional and introspective in nature, and is meant for the listener to get lost in the feel and emotion.
