Is it weird that I find this incredibly soothing??

Just got the NTG4 and then saw the review.  I usually rely on Sony lavs for interviews but the Rode NTG4 (and Tascam DR-40) has a certain air about it.  I like using the NTG4's HF boost for male voices and seems to alleviate needing much work in post to cut through.  The 416 does sound a smidge more refined in your comparison.  Thanks for posting!

As the title suggests...

Why these mics? They are the ones I own. Why not other shoguns? Because I don't have them and so therefore it's quite tricky to include! :)
