At We Out Here in 2021, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy's Love Dancin' tent saved me from a very ropey day I was having. I was so grateful for and inspired by the positive vibe and music of the tent that day that I decided to put together a mix for her, on cassette tape, like we used to back in the days, to give to her at her next Loft Party in London. Unfortunately that day she suffered a nasty head injury from a collision with a turntable (live by the sword...) and had to leave early, so I left it with her partner...

Since that day at WOH, I've dreamed about playing in that tent and this year the dream has come true! I'm playing with my beloved Balearic London crew on Saturday 16 August 2025 in Love Dancin' ahead of Colleen and one of my all-time heroes, François K. So it felt like the right time to finally upload this mix. It has a disco vein running through it, in keeping with the Loft spirit, but was more specifically inspired by Colleen's set that night. I loved seeing her in peak time mode and hope the sensual, organic flavours in this mix reflect some of her energy. It features many of my favourite tracks of all time, and a few of these are definitely shortlisted for my playlist this year. I hope you enjoy it and a huge thanks again to Colleen and WOH for inviting us!

Humberto Matias (Social Disco Club) has been one of the major producers of Nu-disco sounds in the past 5-6 years, His track "The Way you Move" was a huge critical success, and showcased many of the trademarks of his production style: (smooth but funky, with a great bass line and tremendous swing) It was a track that could always be counted on to impact the dance floor and create an instant vibe. Humberto has put out records on Bear Funk, Mindless Boogie, Is it Balearic, and his own Hands of Time label.
