April is here and to celebrate Brazilian autumn, we bring you this beautiful EP by the lovely Franca. 

Hailing from amsterdam, Franca is appreciated around the globe for her energetic, creative and groove-driven DJ sets. Resident with the Kater Blau Club and a regular on music festivals such as Fusion, Garbicz and Burning man, she has left her mark with music lovers all over the world. Playing on the fringes of techno and house, she’s as tight on the controls as she is playful in her storytelling. This and her unique ability to feel the audience, space and time is one of her true trademarks and can also be heard in her own productions. Her work as a producer has been continuously taking shape signing with labels such as Get Physical, URSL, Kiosk. I.D. Feines Tier, Gardens of Babylon, Akasha MX. 

So now we enter the low tones. In her EP "Microdosing", Franca invites you to do just this. Once there, travel with her on a deep and grooving jaunt that leads you to a land of curiously uplifting downtempo. The result is an EP proving that slow(er) is still quite the rush. 

Featuring two original tracks “Microdosing” and “Nootropic” and a remix of each (care of David Hasert & Francesco Mami and Philipp Fein), the EP is accented with just the right amount of simmering sleaze to bend you into beyond. Wander deeply, lovelies—and don’t forget—low is the new high.

Hope y'all enjoyed my set at Meeresrausch Festival I've played on Saturday morning. The weather was sweet, the sun was shining and I had a really great time. Some tracks of the last unreleased 30 minutes I will play at Fusion Festival so I decided to cut the recording after 120min... Besides there are some tracks played from vinyl so you will hear a little loudness difference from time to time... even if I've already normalized the recording. Wishing you a nice musical journey!

Being socialised by a bunch of Westphalian music enthusiasts of the late 90s, Philipp Fein commenced his musical career making himself a name as a respected Hip Hop DJ, only to end up realising that his true dedication would be electronic music. All these eclectic influences can be heard in his music, be it in his unpredictable vinyl- heavy DJ sets, his original productions and remix works (for example with Johannes Klingebiel as “106er”) or as co-founder, booker and resident of “Feines Tier”, one of Cologne’s favourite electronic music happenings. In late 2015 he opened the temporary space called „Jackwho“ in Cologne together with a bunch of friends. He has his residency in Cologne at well known Gewölbe and plays Berlin clubs like Kater Blau or Sisypos on a regular basis. Besides that he’s used the better amount of his recent leisure time to bring his bee keeping skills to perfection.
