We hope this message finds you well.

We are Uri and Paula from Algorythm, and Pau and Javi from Reverse Records, and we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the charity VA compilation UNITS, which will be available on Thursday, November 28, 2024, through our dedicated Bandcamp platform, Terreta. This platform has been specifically created for this important project to support Valencia in the wake of the devastating floods.

The title UNITS means "united" in Valenciano, representing the collective effort of all artists, supporters, and collaborators involved in this initiative. This project would not have been possible without the support of the Dias de Campo Festival, Oven Club, Algorythm, and Reverse Records.

Attached, you will find the official artwork for the compilation, which symbolizes the unity and purpose behind this release.

A reminder to all participating artists: each track in the compilation has been renamed to reflect the name of an affected area in Valencia. This was done to honor and pay tribute to the communities most impacted by the recent floods.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the artists who have contributed their talent and generosity to make this project a reality. Below is the incredible lineup of artists featured in the compilation.

Please note that 100% of the proceeds from this compilation will be donated to the Artists for Valencia Foundation, which will ensure that the funds are managed with transparency and fairness.

Flip it over and you’ll hear Philipp’s „Lockdown Light“, a proper sun drenched Frankfurt-style houser made by Boss. On the B2 Car Crushers are casually closing it down with their eclectic Eurohouse anthem „Fine“ featuring fragments of Tabi’s enchanting voice.

Like morning light slipping through half-open blinds, "Fine" by Car Crushers feat. Tabi awakens a bittersweet longing—one that lingers somewhere between yesterday’s memories and tomorrow’s possibilities. Nestled as the B2 cut on "United Rhythms", the third release on Philipp Boss’ Activo Records, the track embraces contradiction: it’s nostalgic yet invigorating, weightless yet deeply anchored in the pulse of the night.

The duo, whose name stems from an incident that perhaps reshaped their creative trajectory, sculpts an anthem that feels like flipping through a sun-faded photo album while hurtling down the autobahn at twilight. A bleeping synth-line, radiant yet wistful, is enhanced by a super catchy deep house chord—one that almost sounds dubby, like an echo from a past night still reverberating through the present. It paves the way for Tabi’s voice—an apparition flickering in and out of focus, much like an old acquaintance spotted in a crowd but never quite reached. Her vocal fragments drift weightlessly, repeating the mantra "We’ll be fine", sometimes extending into "We’ll be fine, we’ll be okay", and at other moments stretching into "We’ll be fine, doesn’t matter, we’ll be okay"—a whispered reassurance wrapped in sound, a message as much to oneself as to the dancefloor.

Beneath the ethereal layers, the track is driven by a groovey yet pushy Euro House bassline, an engine propelling the arrangement forward with an effortless yet insistent momentum. The percussive framework dances with a confident nonchalance, each clap and kick placed with the precision of someone who knows the floor beneath them will hold, no matter how much they let go. The bassline, warm and enveloping, is less an instrument than an embrace, keeping the track’s euphoria from floating too far beyond reach. It’s a balancing act that few can execute with such elegance—the past bleeding into the present, the ecstasy of the club dissolving into personal reverie.

Perfectly made to be played out on those light and free summer days or nights, "Fine" carries the spirit of carefree euphoria, of golden hours stretching infinitely into balmy evenings. With this track, Car Crushers close out "United Rhythms" not with a full stop, but with an ellipsis—an open-ended invitation to wonder what’s next, and perhaps more importantly, to dance while waiting.
