Composé pour le film "La Nuit aux amants" de Julien Hilmoine, ce morceau se veut contemplatif en mélangeant les genres sur un rythme lent.

LA NUIT DERRIERE NOUS

En utilisant ma vieille guitare Fender Musicmaster, je me suis rendu compte d'un défaut sonore. J'ai utilisé ce buzz comme un drone, pour soutenir le reste de la composition. Avec ce morceau calme et apaisant, je recherche la sensation d'un temps suspendu, face à l'œuvre mystérieuse de Laurent Batard.

The title was inspired by an aphorism by Ralph Waldo Emerson, the American transcendentalist philosopher who so influenced Henry David Thoreau:
« Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. »

Philippe leaves a trace for Silvia with a baroque-inspired harmony. Silvia follows this trace with her native American flute and passes in front of Philippe again. The field of possibilities opens up in front of her, and she can give free rein to her melodious, pentatonic inspiration. Into the green, it's an escape, a change of perception for the time of a track, a walk in the forest after the rain, when the sun gradually reappears between the leaves, it's also gentleness, fragility, the time it can take for a drop of water to fall from a leaf.
