De-modulation (as I call it) is an approach, developed throughout years - it is simply cleaner and faster to finish music this way, an extra space for psychodelic manoeuvre appears itself during the process, which is a good sign always. It evolves radically during a live show in the club though, but on the record the tracks are concepted originally as an acoustic installation. What I enjoyed most is the play with timing and drops, breaks and moments without the 'kick drum', - that is something I have learned on the belfry as a bell-ringer, controlling many tons of metal and massive sound options: the beauty of unloading and the power of concentration.

Since a couple of years there has been a lot of data transfer between the thief and the rat. 
After the first bytes got exchanged, it was clear they speak the same code: Communication on the basis of rhythmic structure! UPDATE august 2019:

Pleased to say the repress of BA050 will be hitting stores soon. The first in the Transhumanism series went down a storm and has been out of stock for ages. The original pressing was on orange vinyl. This time it’s on black with an orange sticker to match the second in the series and the 3rd which will be released in September.

There are no plans to sell this on Bandcamp. So check the decent stores out there - some taking preorders already.

In February 2016 5 people from the Bass Agenda family met in person for the first time at Whip It! - an Electro night hosted by Dave Clarke and held at The Melkweg, Amsterdam. 

Inspired by the meeting, the friendship, the music and the experience of the night they set out to make the 50th release on Bass Agenda Recordings - 'Transhumanism'. 

As a compilation of Dutch Electro from the deep underground the vinyl is a deep orange pressing and strictly limited to 200 copies.

Low Tape, a rising star from Russia, is one of the producers currently making a name for himself while championing the recently refreshed electro sound. Finding a home for his newest "Walking the Streets" EP on London's Of Paradise imprint, a label with a focus on the tougher side of electronic music, the Russian producer effortlessly squeezes into their limited but already distinguished catalogue. Blending heavy hitting drums, lo-fi textures and acid lines, Low Tape is right at home amongst cohorts Trudge, Baltra, Shedbug and others who have made an appearance on the label.

Our premiere today is the A2 and is aptly titled A Day of Electrical Revolution. This uptempo jam is made strictly for the late night dancefloor. Hard hitting kicks and a saw-y bassline are the backbone of this rave-inspired jam which would be a perfect fit for a big old warehouse. Squelchy synth lines and deep, textured atmospheres bring a euphoric energy, curiously bringing back memories of some old psytrance records, not the first time we've noticed this in recent productions. As music goes in cycles and sounds of yore are often recycled, this natural amalgamation of the old and new is to be expected, and, more often than not is also quite refreshing.
