With a careful curation of talents who share our vision for innovative, emotionally resonant music, we are proud to present Wukah’s „Spiralformig“ EP.
Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Gavin (aka Wukah) is an educator of young, eager minds by day, and a keen raver by night.
Classically trained in piano and with a background in short film scoring, his music takes influences from cinematic music, and he likes to incorporate film music samples and ideas into the progressive/melodic house format to make music which is deep, melodic, and very emotive and occasionally emotionally overwhelming!
For his new „Spiralformig“ EP, Wukah has decided to fuse his usual progressive, melodic sound with a slightly more left-field, euro-electronic sensibility in his sound design, and is also bringing in a lot of personal story into the production. The story that runs through the 3 tracks speaks to a succession of personal challenges faced at a crucial turning point. For instance, the spiraling synth arps in the breakdown of the titular track „Spiralformig“ speak to a life spiralling out of control, and being left in an unresolved emotional state. The progressive movement and spiraling synths of „Suchen“ speak to the sense of searching for a new identity as a person in the wake of dramatic changes in life. The slow pace of „Slow Down“ followed by a select few moments of dramatic rises followed by sudden edits into quiet speak to the feeling of escalating desperation to resolve emotional issues instantly, but accepting the reality of having to slow down and to allow processing to take its time.
Wukah has releases on multiple underground labels, and is slowly building a name for himself in the London progressive house raving scene, gaining a lot of interest from significant labels, so is one to watch.



Slow Down

After a five-year hiatus, the acclaimed German DJ and producer duo Microtrauma make a long-awaited return to the scene, and what a comeback it is. Known for their releases on respected labels such as Parquet, Traum, Einmusika, and Soulful Techno, they now resurface with a powerful new double single on Solees esteemed imprint, Future Romance. With Norycove, Microtrauma tap into their signature melodic depth. Emotive synths, infectious hooks, and driving rhythms come together in a beautifully crafted journey that feels both timeless and refreshing. In contrast, Explore lives up to its name by venturing into a more stripped-back, techno-oriented territory. Darker, more hypnotic, and undeniably functional, its a peak-time weapon designed to ignite dance floors. This release offers a perfect blend of emotion and energy, a compelling statement that Microtrauma are back in full form, ready to move minds and bodies once again. A triumphant return that fans old and new will no doubt celebrate.

Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album 'The Floor Is Lava'.
