Does the world need another Raglan Road?  Yes!!  
So happy and proud to have produced this track with Finn and Debra.  One of my favorite Irish ballads, based on the traditional tune The Dawning of the Day, with words by Paddy Kavanagh.

Rock n Roll Witch is the latest single from SheBeat working with Scottish Indie producer Ian White (The Wendys/ Sons of the Descent).
Inspired by a jingle SheBeat created for the radio show of the same name hosted by magical music journalist Zöe Howe, Rock n Roll Witch is all about embracing music as magic, dancing around the kitchen while you make your potions.

After the success of our track "Parallel Worlds" i was thinking of another piece that would contain some different styles of music. 
The title “Distant Mirrors” should explain the different parts and musical styles in this track. 
There are a few parts and changes in there and it’s not coming back to an earlier played theme. 
After laying down my bassparts I was seaching for musicians who would be able to put that plan into action. 
So what’s better to ask A man called Martin, Julien Apelian and Dan van den Berg again? 
Think they all exceeded my expectations again with some wonderful ideas and arrangements.

Distant Mirrors - Mirko Borach, a man called Martin, Dan van den Berg & Julien Apelian

Composer/Producer blending folk melodies with neoclassical vibes, and cinematic verve, my work is a mix of original compositions and contemporary arrangements of traditional tunes.  I hope you enjoy the music! 

Philleann (pronouced PHILLY-ENN) is a mash up of my name Phil and one of the instruments I play, the Uilleann Pipes.  I also play the Whistle and Accordion.

I'm a Brit now residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm also a member of Bellow Bridge a traditional celtic folk band.
