'bed sheets' is the final song of this album. It is the literal good night kiss to a beautifully mundane day.
The neighbor's TV show echoes muffled through the walls while you put your smartphone away and get cosy.

The background sounds are recordings oh my real bed sheets. Additional sounds, like the muffled TV and clock ticking, are also real recordings, manipulated and edited to fit the overall arrangement.

'before bed' is a quick interlude to bridge 'spacedust' and 'bed sheets', afternoon and evening.

'spacedust' takes up the idea of dust particles floating in the room illuminated by the bright evening light dancing in the air currents.
Equally playful are the drums and rhythm elements in this beat. Distributed over different levels, something is always happening in the sound image, while the distorted sample makes the flow of it shine.

The brush sound is me stroking my woodchip wallpaper. Also, the various percussion elements are pencils or other household materials that have been worked to fit seamlessly into the arrangement and create the organic sound you hear.

'raufaser' is a song that reflects the simple motif of a white wall on the one hand, but also the consideration of what happens in (or behind) these four walls on the other. It attempts to capture and contrast the monotony and playful wonder of what could be.

For this reason, the track fades into a live recording of itself in my apartment towards the end.

'empty rooms' attempts to capture the magical silence of a deserted apartment: The light breaks through the curtains, outside life is buzzing, but inside it is quiet. The dust floats in the room; the clock ticks loudly. A monotonous scene, yes, but beautifully tranquilizing.
