phillson - Sektor Evolution "Overclocking" NewYear 2023

For the third nebelcast two Dresden-based artists teamed up. One is phillson who is part of syn.thie.verrückt, a crew who has its roots in the Dresden underground and free techno scene. The other one is Nautika, who is one of our residents and crewmembers as well as beeing deeply involved in the TBA Club Dresden.
Both created a nearly one and a half hour lasting journey from Elektro to Techno through some Tech house and back to Techno. Who knows both of them might be able to guess the influences on each of the tracks.  One more time we assure ourselves that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Opening @ TBA Klubnacht w/ Richie Hawtin 17.11.2017

Lange rätselten wir über die Herkunft des phillson. Zuletzt glaubten wir, das Blut nordischer Ahnen würde durch seine Venen fließen. Doch da haben wir wohl in der falschen Himmelsrichtung gesucht... Sein sonnengegerbtes Gesicht war der erste Hinweis, die dunklen Locken erhärteten den Verdacht... den Beweis lieferte letztendlich sein lasziver Hüftschwung hinter den Decks: er muss Spanier sein!
Wörtlich übersetzt bedeutet sein Künstlername somit "phill-sind". Denn nur einer wäre - und ist ihm selbst - viel zu wenig. phillson, dass sind alt und neu, verspielt und straight, harter Techno und melodiöse Klänge. Am besten, ihr macht euch selbst ein Bild seines sächsisch-südländischen Temperaments - am Freitag im TBA Club. Hasta Pronto!
