Thank you to everyone who was there dancing on my very first live set <3

The last months were challenging to say the least, with struggles, doubts, technical issues along the way. But the reward is beyond my expectations. 

Some of you probably saw me burst into tears afterwards (I chose my name wisely apparently). Not only because I did it, but also because I was supported and surrounded by my closest friends and beloved ones. 

I want to thank the Extravaganza team & Ketoga crew for their trust as they gave me this opportunity to express myself with music in a new way. I couldn't have wished for a better event that Fusion for it.

I will remember this day my whole life.

Vielen Dank an das Kollektiv am Waldrand für das tolle Festival.
Und was für eine hammer crowed dass ihr am letzten Tag noch so angedancet habt <3
Leider hat sich mein Aufnahmegerät direkt am Anfang des Sets aufgehangen.
Deshalb habe ich für euch den 1. Teil meines Sets nochmal eingespielt und aufgenommen.

Awara Festival 2024 - Bassblüten Stageclosing

Eine schönere Geburtstagssause hätten wir uns nicht vorstellen können, danke an alle die waren und an alle, die seit 5 Jahren mit uns tanzen und sonntags feiern. Jeder Sonntagstratsch ist eine eigene Geschichte für sich, der Vergangene war aber etwas ganz besonderes - man wird ja nur einmal fünf! 
Ich hab mich sehr gefreut über alle Glückwünsche, süßen Geschenke und dass ihr so zahlreich erschienen seid. Am allerglücklichsten macht es mich jedoch, dass ich in so viele bekannte, grinsende Gesichter schauen durfte. Durch das viele Gewusel komme ich nicht immer dazu mit allen zu schnacken oder ein Stück Kuchen zu genießen, aber spätestens auf dem Dancefloor kommen wir zusammen. Und das bedeutet mir viel, jedes Mal aufs Neue. 

Der Sonntagstratsch ist ein (musikalisches) Zuhause für mich und dafür bin ich unendlich dankbar. 
Auf MINDESTENS weitere 5 Jahre! 🎂🩵

🎵 Heute haben wir die Künstlerin Eloiß mit einem Live Recording bei KataHaifisch zu Gast. Dieses Set entstand bei einer Naked Tea Party im KitKat und vermittelt eine ganz besondere musikalische Atmosphäre. Es handelt sich um eine Mischung aus Bass- und Tech
 House Sounds mit orientalischen Einflüssen. Ausgefallen und flippig, stellenweise extravagant und pompös, dann wieder laid-back und groovy.

Big love to the Moyn crew for booking me for one of their festival outlets once again.. this family replicate the values of what we do back here in Aus and far out it's a crew I'd run through a brick wall for.

Imagine sand... drifting slowly through your hands.... just like that.

If word resembles this year’s Nowhere Burn in Spain, it would be sandstorms 🌪️ . Tormenta. Like a dark storm of energy this set was the beginning of the burn for a lot of my fellow camp members as they told me. I am beyond grateful and honoured for this feedback and support, as well as the great opportunity to bring my music to the great sound system of Garden of Joy camp. My burn began with this set too, it took me on a journey of ups and downs, challenges and learnings, storms and clearing skies, adding beauty and letting go, leaving me ever more grateful after Nowhere, which is still my favourite Burn so far. See you soon again in the dust - as we trust in dust! 🌪️

This set is more than music — it is the echo of a human moment that transcended into something alien. A place where the forest breathed, the crowd dissolved with me, and I felt both stranger and kin. This is my homage to the essence of Waldtraut — strength, mystery, and the unexplainable beauty of being carried away."

What was that all about: lost my voice at noon, completely frozen and terrible cold incoming. 15 minutes before the show my wallet was gone, too. After a brief unsuccessful search, I got ready to perform. Was told that my slot was being pushed back an hour. Continued searching for my wallet and picked it up at Lost & Found - with every cent still inside. 

Then: straight to the decks and familiarized myself with the equipment while DJing, bc I until then I had only known it from a YouTube tutorial. The light show and sound system were on another level. So was the crowd. My friends dancing around me. And the set turned out to be exactly the rollercoaster of genres and emotions I had planned to deliver. I'll never forget the last moment, the silence in the crowd waiting for the drop - until they realized the set was over.
