Meanwhile it’s a tradition for me to collaborate with my good friend Lee Lucas on Halloween. This time we present a romantic and heartfelt ballad, which will be suitable for all sensitive and careful listeners.

Recording notes: I tested some new methods to record. For the guitars I used the free Voxengo Boogex Cab Sim and the drums are created with the Oblivion Add-on for Expansion BFD2.  I used my BC Rich Chuck Schuldiner and my oldest guitar, a custom made Super-Strat made by Thomas Kortmann equipped with EMG-PUs.

Miranda was 55 when she passed away 
I was there holding her hand on that very day

now it's 20 years later she's still with me 
only dead

Staring at the glaze in her cadaver eyes
 they're going to take me away one day I would here her cry 
clinging to the flesh of her mortal remains
 no they're not my dear, no they're not 
I will dash out there brains 
Then put them in a boiling pot to be later consumed 
we will have them for a feast on a halloween moon 
for they will fear the day they stepped near this place 
and my blade will wipe away any smile on their face

I knew deep in my mind I would have to face that day
 when they would eventually try and take my Miranda away

even in all this rot and decay

After several years of fights to obtain trade-union rights and a piece of land to cultivate, today the Brazilian small farmers might have the chance to produce biofuels and enter the global market of energy, respecting the “trilemma” food-energy-environment, without disfiguring the environment and not feeding people as the powerful big landowners have been doing up to now with soy and sugar cane monocultures. This would be a revolution in the biofuel production field, thanks to a native plant spread throughout South American: Macauba.

Memento

What we want is to express the dark, sick, evil side of human soul, that part of soul that lives in each of us and every day it's powerfully trying to come to light in order to disrupt our being. It's the tense for what is ugly, grotesque, unsettling that the genius of Edgar Allan Poe was able to describe sublimely with his poetry and his stories. This is all part of us and we try to celebrate it and, in some cases, exorcise it through our songs. That said, do not take us too seriously. We never do.
