The genesis of ATL.A. began in August of this year at Daily Bread’s 2-night run at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Poudre Canyon, where dB and MURS first connected in person. Following hours in the studio discussing favorite hip-hop influences, wrestlers, record shops, and concepts for the project, the 5 tracks that comprise ATL.A. convey a deep love and respect for hip-hop through the lens of two unique, yet similar artists. Minnesota - Purple Daze (Drop Doc VIP)

Atlanta-based producer Daily Bread (Rhett Whatley) presents his latest project, Purple Clouds, via Philos Records on July 24th, 2020. Purple Clouds serves as an homage to and coincides with July 2016’s Cloud Conductor release.

Similar to Cloud Conductor, the Purple Clouds EP presents a series of songs produced thematically around weather, using imagery of storms, clouds, and other familiar weather patterns as metaphors for 
life.

The cover art for Purple Clouds is constructed from an image taken by Tone Connect on a Polaroid SX-70 camera - the vertical white lines present in the photo are a unique artifact caused by the bent film 
rollers on TC's specific camera. Artifakts processed and assembled the image into the artwork for Purple Clouds, with a nod back to the original Cloud Conductor artwork. Purple Clouds is comprised of five new tracks, including a collaborative track with Philos-mate Derlee, who also appeared on Cloud Conductor.
