Ninji Flows was born with music in her veins, crafting original lyrics before she could even read. Growing up in the Vancouver suburbs as a Korean-Canadian, she was immersed in a family deeply rooted in music. Music became her sanctuary, helping her navigate the challenges of balancing two cultures and embracing her unique identity.  

Her journey of self-discovery fuels her mission to inspire others to embrace their authentic selves. From fronting bands to solo performances, and years of piano shaping her artistry, Ninji’s ability to create original music is her superpower—a bold, unfiltered expression of her story as an independent artist.  

Influenced by the iconic sounds of the 90s and 2000s—from Christina Aguilera and Amy Winehouse to 2NE1—Ninji’s style is an electric blend of female hip-hop, soul, and indie/alternative sounds. 

After surviving a life-altering accident in 2021, Ninji’s work took on new depth, infused with resilience, purpose, and an unapologetic edge. A creative visionary, she transforms her experiences into vibrant performances that tackle complex themes and celebrate individuality, leaving an artistic presence that’s impossible to ignore.
