Manchester independent Dark Red Records brings it's 4th instalment in the form of a multi-artist EP from Ego-Free Sequences, rising new French talent Sqimer (also on mastering duties for this release) and label regular Darsk, all coming together to provide a satisfyingly varied selection of dark, meditative Drum & Bass and Jungle tracks which meld together classic breaks and editing with a distinctly modern and experimental approach, all finished in a wholly organic and listenable style. 

Jah-Tek presents track 3 'Alchemy' from Darsk. A truly mediative piece, that hypnotically pulsates intricate tribal percussion and bass, whilst atmospherically evolving into dark spaces and foreboding tonality.

Inspiration behind these experiments of nuclear fission are derived from the unwieldy methods employed to carve out sonic waves never before imagined, much less clearly describable. The infinitude of knowledge that has yet to be discovered amongst the vastness of space, the mechanism of continual expansion, the subatomic divisions of Phizzon are boundless. 👾
