Philip Snyder, 23, has been called “a physically imposing presence” on stage and his sound has been referred to as “Wagnerian” (Classical Voice North Carolina 2012).  He is a Masters in Flute Performance Major born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  Philip began studies with Brooks de Wetter-Smith in the Spring of 2007 which continued when he was accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Fall of 2009.  He recieved his Bachelors of Music degree from UNC in 2013 and is currently studying with Jennifer Parker-Harley at the University of South Carolina.
