A live performance recorded at a Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser in Montebello Park, Ontario, Canada...on a balmy Saturday afternoon, alongside a great cause and a great crowd.

Warm and fuzzy, like shoes in the dryer. Using JFM's old press n play sampler as his DJ tool - no cross fading, beat matching or previewing. The sampler has half a dozen different banks which are loaded with songs I've ripped straight from the internet onto the machine. The key to it all is the tiny list of all the tracks on a piece of paper I keep on hand as a legend. As always the mix is a dubby and rough around the edges, but it's got heart, love and big emotions.

Our pick 'Call2Me' snaps you out of that pendulum inducing trance and plunges you deep into a breakbeat amalgam of whirring magnetism and outer-body mysticism.

"The roar of the engines ignites the garage's atmosphere. The metallic clinks blend with the deep rumble of the bass, creating a mechanical symphony that awakens the dormant assembly line. A technician, wrench in hand, is busy solving an issue with a faulty hose. She inspects every corner of the engine, from the recently drained oil filter to the perfectly intact cylinder head.

Another mechanic is about to check the clutch. He engages the 3rd gear with precision, while rhythms infiltrate the workshop. A radio station broadcasts catchy beats, a fusion of scrapyard club and broken noise, forming a sonic canvas that envelops the space. The sound of percussion guides the movements of the mechanic, revealing the nuances of each action. Post-pop covers and remixes intertwine, creating an unexpected soundtrack for this mechanical inspection session, accompanying the rotations of the wheels during three drifts.

"Troisième Vitesse" is a unique fusion between the world of Garage 83-C and the unrestrained creativity of club music. The metallic noises converse with the sonic experiments, creating an immersive experience where mechanics and electronic sequences come together.

"Divagation Sociale" was conceived as two storytelling pieces of 20minutes // 2 distinct pieces that you can perceive as audio short movies, cut in sequences // A side is a dive into opïoidic nights filled with clumsy seduction and endless drifts through cheulou lounge vibes // B side is a trip through street and squatt culture , starting in Barbès, going to Anti-Mariani protests and police repression of a free party (true field recordings I did in early 00’s and used for the first time here) to some rare samples of the real Hakim Bey explaining the T.A.Z. concept (Temporary Autonomous Zone for those who are not familiar to it) // all of it recorded in september 2023 at the Studio of the White Worm
