VALAK is a project curated by Lisbon based Bruno Matias based on industrial rhythms, more specifically industrial techno and slow hardcore.
My musical roots originate from Industrial Hardcore, which play a big role in influencing my production embodied by distortion, hard percussion and strong synthesizers.
I started to produce industrial hardcore between 190 / 200bpm where i got a taste for those large and heavy kicks full of breaks paired with distortion, strong synthesizers and heavy percussion.
My desire for change lead me to now start producing industrial techno at a slower pace, around 145 / 155bpm which I have been enjoying a lot.
Expect hard industrial rhythms, distortion and crunchy kicks with VALAK!
