Release Description:

Brazilian duo RIKO & GUGGA make a powerful debut on Perspectives Digital with a two track EP that showcases their signature fusion of melodic depth and finely tuned dancefloor precision.  Known for blending 80's-inspired synth textures with the pulse of contemporary Melodic Techno, the São Paulo-based pair have cultivated a distinctive sound that's earned widespread support from industry heavyweights like Vintage Culture, Solomun, Adriatique, Nora En Pure, Cassian, Kevin de Vries, and Miss Monique, among many others.

"Valkyrie" opens the release with cinematic flair.  An ethereal lead glides over a propulsive groove, gradually building into a soaring climax shaped by intricate layers and rhythmic tension.  Equal parts emotional and explosive, it's tailor-made for big rooms and peak moments on the floor.

On the flip, "Prophet" explores darker territory, driven by pulsing basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, and a deeper melodic sensibility.  The arrangement unfolds with intention, weaving elements in and out of focus before locking into a nocturnal groove that resonates both physically and emotionally.

With previous releases on respected imprints like Purified, Siona Records, Running Clouds, and UV, RIKO & GUGGA have emerged as one of the most compelling production duos from Brazil's underground.  Their debut on Darin Epsilon's label pushes their artistry to new heights, delivering two standout tracks with unmistakable precision, atmosphere, and flair.

Fresh from the success of his global hit ‘C’est Toi’ back in February of this year, Belgian DJ and producer Paradoks unveils his next chapter on Purified Records with the evocative single ‘Remember’.

The ‘Remember’ artwork is a photograph taken by Kelsey Williamson, featuring the unique underwater landscapes of the crystal-clear fresh water at Kayangan Lake in Coron, Philippines. Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Kayangan Lake, often mistaken for purely freshwater, is actually a mix of rainwater and ocean seepage - making it one of the cleanest and most unique lakes in Asia. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs rising from deep underwater, it’s a vivid reminder of the connection between land and sea. The Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation (@prrcfi) works to protect this balance through coral reef restoration, reforestation and education.

<p>Our buddy Sutter Cane brings some unorthodox warfare to Phobiq, and the mayhem starts right away with &#8220;Thorium&#8221;, where an off-kilter groove sets the manic tone and percussive edits pierce the midnight air. Menacing synths slowly surface and turn everything into a roaring maelstrom.<br />
Electric Rescue straightens things out a bit and injects melodies out of nowhere that evolve into a barrage of stabs, totally turning the tables on us. On the closing &#8220;Chemtrails&#8221;, Sutter crunches and grinds while persistent electronics rage over a bubbling rhythm section, overflowing with sub bass.</p>
