LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN

Phoebe Coco’s piano is reminiscent of Phillip Glass and undulates with synth bass, drum machines, harmonicas and shakers with the voices of Phoebe Coco and her sisters textured harmonies lulling us throughout.
 Co-produced by Marc Makarov, Vanessa Anne Redd (of Sharp Attack Records) and Phoebe herself, it has been mixed by multi Grammy award winning Eduardo De La Paz, and mastered by Kevin Tuffy.

'Strangeness led us here...’
 The song came to be through a series of dream like scenes, words and frequencies on the air.  A tapestry of undulating harmonies, hums, Phoebe Coco’s voice and three pianos are woven together co-produced with Marc Makavov and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eduardo De Le Paz.

Strangeness

London based, welsh born artist and composer Phoebe Coco released her acclaimed debut album in 2020:  ‘My White Horse & I’ - achieving local, national and global radio play from the likes of BBC 6 Music. She was nominated best female artist of the year in the Radio Wigwam awards. Phoebe Coco currently performs and writes songs for the environment, most specifically trees, in a project titled ‘Tree Song’. She currently has a musical ‘Tree Song Tree Trail’ where her songs can be heard - installed across green spaces of London.  Her recent writings and performances with trees have been aired by renowned author Robert Macfarlane on BBC 4 Front Row. In this performance she sang her vocal arrangement of his ‘Charm-against-Harm’: ‘Heartwood’.
