We’re so excited to welcome Phoebe as guest #19 in our Sounds of SMUT series!

Phoebe, aka Bruno Trigo Gonçalves, has delivered some of the most desirable sonic infusions around today. A necessary agitator in the city of Lisbon’s underground, he is the founder of Troublemaker Records, collaborator with collectives Rádio Quântica and Planeta Manas, and a resident DJ at ‘mina’ and co-founder/resident DJ of ‘Curvs’. Phoebe is also a vital force in the field of live performance and production; with releases on Rotten Fresh and Sweet Love Making, a label he co-owns with Bleid, Phoebe’s razor sharp aural precision and aesthetic alludes to various different languages of Dance music, Ambient music, and other personal cosmologies, ones that define him as a sonically free producer and voice for the ever-ephemeral present. 

This mix sees Phoebe provide a near 60-minute descent into ‘Slow House anthems’, which is something he says he rarely has the opportunity to play. Luscious pads, shuffle-y drums and erotic vocals echo throughout, providing you all with a sense of sultry, smutty, sonic pleasure.
