A demonstation of my most powerful synth: Sawer. A little tricky to tame at first, it rewards with some incredible subtractive sounds! Needs some serious polishing but the Arp gives this all the kick it needs to be continued!

772 - Saw Power

The most 'complete' track on here, this one is proving a mini headache. The bad mixing and structure aside, I cannot decide whether to give it some female vocals or throw some more patterns into the mix; the latter would most likely allow the tune to retain what it has thus-far, but I cant help but feel that vocals (and possibly a structure reshuffle) would give this a much needed professional feel. Any opinions?

826 - Flash Trance - 4th Draft -Opinions wanted; Add vocals or more patterns?

A (very) rough 2nd draft for a Euphoria vocal. There are some horrendous mixing and automation bogeys in this at the moment. It gets itself going at 2.10; however, poor mixing and some even poorer synth control lets this down even as a basic draft. 38 simultaneous automations for two patterns are also a headache to organize. Nonetheless, a lot of viable layers to work with here and much scope for extended patterns. 

MORE RELEVENT VOCALS WILL BE RE-RECORDED AND EXTENDED THROUGHOUT THE MIX; THE EXISTING SAMPLES ARE MERELY TO ASSIST WITH STRUCTURING.

All tracks on here are unfinished drafts; presented to draw any opinions, however harsh! All have mixing issues and too few patterns; also, vocals are a big problem at the moment. Any interjection is welcome.

I now PRODUCE, MASTER, MIX and TUNE - my own tracks may leave a lot to be desired but I am skilled in all these roles. PM me is interested or you want work done.
 
I've been making Electronic music since I first discovered 'Dance E-jay' when I was 11; I started using DAWs such as FL Studio and Reason a few years ago. However, my love for trance in particular came from many hundreds of hours spent listening to BBC Radio 2's (may have been 1) late night mixes when I was 7 through till about 13 years of age; I'd go to bed with my little clock radio on low every night, and can clearly remember going to sleep listening to Techno, Electro and Trance; probably the most pronounced in my mind being the 20-minute electro mixes. I've always loved how these genres do not use any 'standard instrumental sound' like an electric guitar in rock or acoustic in country (great as said genres are); in electronic, many sounds have never been heard by man before the artist tuned them (one synth which comes to mind here is Image-Line's 'Autogun', which allows a random selection from over 4 trillion totally different sound presets!) There's something special about being able to use any sound in the universe, with which to make patterns of music which you can use to create either chaos, or perfect order. Nonetheless, it took me several years and going through an S-club 7 phase to realize that the tracks I'd really liked and would always drool to on the radio had all been the same genre; Trance. Two of these being Alice Deejay's 'Back in my Life' and Orbit's 'Adagio for strings'.
My favourite artists are currently Andy Blueman and Dave Pearce; both of whom have channels on here.
My favourite style is Uplifting; Ibiza and Pop Trance following close behind.
My favourite tune differs regularly though at the moment it's Emphasyst's 'Euphoria' (all mixes).
Personal style varies, though I always aim for a somewhat Uplifting Trance feel.
