lange haben wir recherchiert, jetzt ist es endlich so weit: Der erste große Gehalts-Report der deutschen Spielepresse liegt vor. Und es ist insgesamt schlimmer als befürchtet. Konzentriert haben wir uns auf die Löhne und Gehälter von freiberuflichen Journalisten und festangestellten Redakteurinnen und Redakteuren – also denen, die regelmäßig Inhalte produzieren, seien das News, Tests, Vorschauen oder Reportagen. Außerdem werfen wir einen Blick auf die diskussionswürdige Rolle der Verwertungsgesellschaft VG Wort, die in vielen Fällen niedrige Löhne alimentiert und – so jedenfalls könnte man es interpretieren – dem Lohndumping Vorschub leistet.
