Phon.o's latest EP Cracking Space Pt. 2 continues on from the excellent work he recently carried out on Cracking Space Pt. 1. Like its predecessor this EP is a thrilling venture into the nexus between Burial-esque night bus appropriate garage, and heavy Berlin Techno. 'Whi5tleblower' is a propulsive opener underpinned by a ferocious garage beat that occasionally recedes into dub-y dread inducing atmospherics, before inevitably getting even heavier and more intense. 'Defrost' is a particularly massive and sophisticated floor filler that features a tense emotional edge, while 'Crystal Math' is a shimmering and hazy atmospheric palate-cleanser.

Serpentine is from Out Of Reach, released on 18 August for the first time - officially - since 1978 and for the first time ever on CD and digitally.

Out Of Reach will be released on vinyl alongside CAN's 13 studio albums: Tago Mago, Monster Movie, Soundtracks, Ege Bamyasi, Soon Over Babaluma, Landed, Saw Delight, Future Days, Flow Motion, Can, Rite Time, Delay and Unlimited Edition - all the albums are remastered from the original tapes, are pressed on 180gm vinyl and include digital copies.

These releases will be followed by the individual vinyl releases The Lost Tapes Vol. 1 to 5, in November 2014. Originally released as a box set in 2012 and now sold out, The Lost Tapes will now be available as five separate vinyl releases. Curated by Irmin Schmidt and Daniel Miller, the albums compile recordings from 1968-1977 and include studio material recorded at Schloss Nörvenich and Can Studio, Weilerswist with the Can line up of Holger Czukay on bass, Michael Karoli on guitars, Jaki Liebezeit on drums and Irmin Schmidt on keyboards, and on most tracks, vocals from Malcolm Mooney or Damo Suzuki.
