Russ has always stood out to me in hip-hop, much like Eminem, because of his unique mindset that's so different from other rappers. His strong belief in manifestation resonates deeply with me - I've read his first book five times already. What draws me to his work is how he uses his songs as affirmations to create his life, something I strive to do in my own music.

"Ride Slow" instantly connected with me because it perfectly captured a moment of pure presence and appreciation. The message of taking things slow and truly feeling every moment spoke directly to my soul. Now that I'm back in a good music flow, I wanted to reimagine this special track through an Afro lens, making it truly BYAS.
