The album will feature several never-before-heard Phoniks remixes as well as some fresh new artwork. This collab came about when I read one of @tiff-the-gift 's tweets where she was frustrated about men who say they don't listen to female hip-hop artists. I wanted to capture her raw emotion at the time on record so I tweeted back that I had a beat for her to vent over and the rest is history. Tiff spits venom on this track!

The album, titled "Stories from the Brass Section", is a journey through the mind of the Houston emcee, filled with thought-provoking rhymes over a soundscape of jazzy piano samples, vinyl horn loops, and dusty drum-breaks created by Phoniks. The pairing of Phoniks vintage east coast production style combined with Anti's classic laid back H-Town delivery and introspective bars make for a combination that is truly fresh, while paying tribute to the originators of their respective sounds at the same time.
