Phonix Music presents a brand new riddim called 'Return To Rub A Dub'.
This riddim evokes memories of the Rub A Dub dancehall era of the early 80s. Back then, many songs were cut onto dubplates for the top sounds almost as soon as they were recorded, often with only drums, bass, piano and a guide vocal and a very raw/rough mix.Some of these dubplates became classics in their own right. 
For those that were there and remember, a case in point, is Dennis Brown's 'Revolution' who's dubplete mix was so popular, Sly and Robbie didn't release the final version for almost 2 years!!

As a tribute to those times and those dubplate mixes, here is an exclusive early 80s dubplate style remix of I Octanes massive dancehall hit 'Gyal Ah Gi Mi Bun' on the Riddim. This is a deliberately stripped down/raw mix, other mixes available on request. Also watch out for other artists on the riddim, coming soon!!
