Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Italian dj & producer Luigi Tozzi (Hypnus Records / Mental Modern).

Luigi Tozzi has calmly cemented his position as a leading DJ & producer of the deep techno scene for his distinct brand of techno that merges the sound of hypnotic techno with organic grooves from ambient and dub techno. 
Raised in Rome, he takes influence from the timeless Italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere.
There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions.
Tozzi’s unswerving commitment to his sound, alongside his pensive and considered development as an artist has brought him to where he is today, with a touring schedule that’s taken him to some of the finest clubbing establishments around the world.
We are thrilled to present a one-hour session from Luigi, featuring many gems that perfectly conjure up the deep, dubby and trippy tonalities that characterise him so well.

@fleika – the Ankali resident digs anything that kicks, melts or makes one’s mind trip, but mainly thrives on diving into the vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic techno – as deep as it gets.

@yomomsmokescrack has become an avid digger during long shifts in gloomy basements and online. The Prague-based DJ and DIY promoter took the Czech scene by storm with her savage take on a growing range of club music – be it with selections from her trippy or dance folders.

@weltraum-weltraum hosted @acquarioimmersioni at @ankali and invited two of the club’s residents to top off the lineup a few weeks ago. Fleika and Marie Pravda closed the night together in the cosy and intimate setting of the Planeta Za room. An everlasting friendship between the collectives has brewed an inspiring exchange between like-minded artists from Prague and Milan.

Born in NYC, Craft is an experienced Italian producer, music composer and techno DJ based in New York City with strong roots in Rome, Italy. He began as DJ layering instrumental beats in New York in 1994 and started producing original music in Rome by 1999. Craft composed musical scores for film, cinematic videos and modern theatre productions. His discography includes over 100 releases in vinyl and digital formats across EP’s, concept albums, collaborations and remixes on 50+ labels based in a dozen countries. Craft is known for his all vinyl sets, digital performances or live analog acts and is recognized as co-founder New York City’s longstanding underground techno event series “Twice as Proper” founded in 2007. Curating showcase lineups in basements, rooftops, warehouses, clubs and after-hours counting over 270 shows around Manhattan, Brooklyn and beyond. Events were hosted also in Detroit, Washington DC, Barcelona, Terracina, Mexico City and Playa del Carmen showcasing international artists alongside local techno and ambient acts. In 2012 Craft co-founded “Feed The Raver” techno show and was radio host for 6 seasons airied regularly on Saturdays in the UK and online. Craft is founder of the Party People™ line of shirts, hoodies, hats, bags, accessories and thousands of stickers represented by enthusiasts around the globe since 2007.

Hydrangea is a French deep techno producer inspired by nature and its surroundings. Her career as an artist began in 2014 when she released her first full-length album Dawn Lights under the Annulled label.
Influenced by the hypnotic Italian techno and ambient electronica, Hydrangea began creating her own tracks with the prospect of sharing her story and perspective through music.
In the same year, she followed up her debut with Escape From Reality, a nine-track self-released album. In addition to her albums, she has also released a variety of EPs such her latest one on Natch Records, Osmosis. Besides her work as a techno producer, she also works as a graphic designer and photographer under the aliases “Horty Shorter/Aegna Hyrd” through which she regulates the artwork for various music releases and graphic art projects. She’s also taking care of the artworks for the podcast channel, Inveins.
