Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. Next up in our mix series is Shoal, a Dutch producer and DJ who recently relocated to Prague. Known for his hypnotic, emotionally layered sound, Shoal crafts deep, transportive journeys through trippy textures, modular synthesizers, and rolling rhythms. A core member of the ISOTOOP collective, he’s performed at leading underground spots like De School, Tresor, and Ratherlost. His releases on labels like Tikita, Harmony Recordings, Monument, our own Ute.Rec, and most recently Animalia, continue to expand and refine his unique sonic voice within the scene.

In this mix, Shoal delivers a 1.5-hour live set full of acid-dripping techno, spacey atmospheres, and heads-down minimalism. It’s a slow-burning, carefully building mix that captures the raw live sounds and subtle depth that define his sound. A live-set working just as much the mind as the body.

Iffie is a dj & founder of “Into The Abyss” podcast series, based in Athens.
Her sound explores dark and deep elements with an affinity for modern techno.
She loves making her sets as cohesive as possible, intertwining ambient & deep techno by leaving no room for sudden transitions.
In 2020 she founded “Into The Abyss”. Through her widely-acclaimed platform she contributes to the scene with podcasts & premieres of new releases, promoting & supporting various artists & labels.

"This one hour mix moves through ambient and experimental sounds with a personal touch. It was recorded during a time of change, and that feeling shaped the flow. He started DJing in 2009, forging his own distinct path and consistently dedicating himself to the growth of the Korean electronic music scene. Beyond simply playing music, he actively cultivates an organic relationship with the scene through various endeavors. He's notably the planner behind the electronic music festival 'PROMPT', delivering fresh audiovisual experiences, and a co-founder of the underground music community 'tread', contributing to the establishment of a free and vibrant music ecosystem. He also maintains an active presence as a member of the renowned electronic music label 'Oslated'. Currently, he operates 'atdge', a DJ bar in Seoul, directly engaging and connecting with listeners on the ground.

2009년 디제이를 시작한 그는 자신만의 독자적인 노선을 개척하며 한국 전자음악 씬의 발전을 위해 꾸준히 헌신해 왔다. 그는 단순히 음악을 플레이 하는 것을 넘어, 다양한 활동을 통해 씬과의 유기적인 관계를 형성하고 있다. 대표적으로 전자음악 페스티벌 ‘PROMPT’ 의 기획자로서 새로운 시청각적 경험을 선사하고 있으며, 언더그라운드 음악 커뮤니티 ‘tread’ 의 공동 설립자로서 자유로운 음악 생태계 조성에 기여하고 있다. 또한, 유수의 전자음악 레이블 ‘Oslated’의 멤버로서 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있다. 현재는 서울의 디제이 바 ‘atdge’ 를 직접 운영하며, 현장에서 리스너들과 직접적으로 더욱 가까이에서 소통하고 있다.
