[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 77th release. A soundtrack for a dystopia that no one ever wrote. K-Joshua (@dj-joshua) from Setúbal transmits into the ether Opposite Falls EP — nine audio fragments from a parallel chronicle. This is not just dub techno. This is a memory of a world where falling is a form of ascent. There are falls that lead you upward. There is sweetness that tastes bitter. There is music that doesn't echo in the ears, but in the spaces between thoughts. All of this — Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua — is a new coil in the paradoxical spiral of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

Here, sound flows like water against the current. It climbs the slopes of the mind, skimming the familiar, revealing the impossible. Five original narratives:

:::Bitter Fall — not sorrow, but clarity at the edge of collapse.
:::Sweet Fall — not joy, but release, gentle as ashes over a desert.
:::Deep Uncertainty — the heart of the EP, the breath of a universe undecided in its own becoming.
:::Deep Uncertainty (Final Apocalyptic Reprise) — not an ending, but a mirror where the sky reflects after the final exhale.
:::Absolute Certainty — a trap of the mind. Where there is a point, there is no movement. And without movement — no life.

Hidden in the sleeves of this record are four alchemists:

:::Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer Version (@enercube & @x_fr) returns to the roots — where roots are wires buried in the soil of sub-bass and chords as energy.
:::Protyv (@protyv) splits the “Fall” into two beams of light: one cuts through concrete, the other dances on the surface of rain.
:::Jonah van der Hout (@jonahvanderhout) brings us "Absolute Uncertainty" — like a code left behind by a civilization that no longer exists.

Opposite Falls EP by K-Joshua is a space built from sound — like the seaside streets of Setúbal, in the half-shade of old facades and salty winds. Each track invites you into a room with its own acoustics. In one — the whisper of water rushing upward. In another — concrete vibrating with the rhythm of ancient techno archaeology. And somewhere in between — silence where absolute uncertainty hides. This release doesn't seek logic. It lives in between. Between architecture and nature. Between sweetness and bitterness. Between falling and returning to the self. Opposite Falls EP is not music you listen to. It is music that listens to You. And, perhaps — for a moment — understands.

For the 47th entry in the Honcho Podcast Series, we welcome Berlin’s Paolo Di Nola! Paolo, a.k.a. Cosmic Metal Mother started his music career as founder and DJ of the seminal Italian club "Devotion" in 1987. Paolo, who is currently a Buttons resident, has a unique sound that reflects early House and Techno, the psychedelia of left-field Disco and Soul and the uncommon moods of Soft-Rock and the Kosmische sound. Suicide Circus Podcast 45 : TIGERSKIN

Es gibt nur noch wenige Originale in Berlin, die trotz langjähriger internationaler Karriere sowohl die Stellung als auch den Ball flach halten; eins davon ist der Produzent Alexander Krüger, besser bekannt als Tigerskin, Dub Taylor oder Korsakow. 

Als Tigerskin in Erscheinung tretend steht er für farbenfroh schillernden Sound. Wer in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten seinen Output mitverfolgt hat kann guten Gewissens behaupten, dass er mit diesem Alias dem hiesigen Techno sehr viel Imagination und Spektrum eingehaucht hat, ohne sich je damit zu brüsten. 
Ob auf Stil Vor Talent, Pokerflat oder dem hauseigenen Forms&Figures - der Tausendsassa war überall schonmal mit von der Partie und ist trotzdem nur in seinem Studio so richtig angekommen. Gekonnt und gewollt steht er dort auch für Andere an den Regeln und gibt ihnen den Magic Touch. So ist Alex Krüger nicht nur seines eigenen Glückes Schmied, sondern auch der Producer von zahlreichen bekannten Gesichtern des Genres, darunter auch Phonique. 

Der Mix für seinen Haus- und Hofclub Suicide Circus ist mehr als eine kleine Bestandsaufnahme, denn im Grunde genommen steuert uns der vielseitige Tigerskin durch seinen Output, ohne dabei ein Blatt vor den Mund zu nehmen: “Hier spiele ich nun und kann nicht anders”, scheint er uns damit zu sagen und fährt eine Geheimwaffe nach der anderen auf. 
Mitte Februar ist er endlich wieder live bei uns zu sehen und zu hören - wir freuen uns drauf!

Co-founder of the <a target="_blank" class="hyperlink" title="ESHU website" href="http://www.eshurecords.com">ESHU</a> label and collective, he wishes to promote the avant-garde sound of Nijmegen: techno in all shapes and form. Mostly influenced by soul, reggae and early 90's hip-hop, he often introduces sample-based drum loops typifying these trends into his own productions.
