These are challenging times in the middle east. As the situation in Gaza gets worse daily, we are committed to doing what we can to end this conflict, and provide aid to the residents of Gaza, as well as all Palestinians in the west bank.

All proceeds from Confused Machines' digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il, which continues its medical work and humanitarian aid in the West Bank despite the difficult circumstances.

Since October 2023, PHRI has doubled its activity in the West Bank and is sending two weekly mobile clinic visits to help communities that are cut off from medical treatment due to the severe wave of settler and military violence, movement restrictions, and the financial crisis in the West Bank.

PHRI is currently unable to operate in Gaza due to restrictions by the Israeli authorities, and have been barred from delivering aid to the strip. PHRI is constantly working to resume these activities and will do so as soon as the circumstances allow.

We urge for an immediate ceasefire, the return of all hostages, and a peaceful future for all inhabitants of this troubled land.

Alone atop a lighthouse, watching and listening to interferences oscillating upon the asphalt, we reflect about our pasts, our futures… Our complex story begins in winter 1974, an intense adventure with M.

“Ruines, Béton & Industrie” follows the 30-years-old friendship between Guillaume and Andrew. They met in Grenoble, the French techno city, home of The Hacker, Kittin and Etant Donnés. They also discovered rave culture together. It took almost 20 years before they recorded their first song. Between reality and the digital realm, they started to record, compose, write and exchange what would become this LP around 2020.

Bordeaux-based, Guillaume works as an artist plastician and sound performer. He is known for his project The Garçon and performs under the moniker Po.Go.
Berlin-based, Andrew spends most of his time there and in his studio in Bretagne, France. He is part of the electronic Disco band called Acid Washed and has collaborated with Patti Smith and Jean Michel Jarre.

Andrew and Guillaume incessantly travelled back-and-forth between Berlin and Bordeaux, communicating via email, to create this record. LPS founder Assaf, first encountered Andrew in the local Berlin scene and was astonished by his eclectic variety of electronic music; the type of art that fits the label like a glove. Beyond their sonic adventures, the duo inspired Assaf to rekindle his ‘not so hands-on’ virtues and express visual reverence, creating the album’s artwork.

 About the label:

Le Petit Signal (LPS in short) was born out of a passion to uncover obscure masterpieces, works that display both intrinsic coherence and immense attention to detail.
The concept and label emerged from it’s one-person-operated - Assaf Bomgard (as well owner of Punk label and long time mail order - Twintoe Records) during the pandemic, with its bizarre implications and the ensuing reflections about what is and isn’t possible in our new reality.
LPS is a minimal manifesto dedicated to experimental & electronic-oriented music and is manufactured in extremely limited editions of uniquely designed vinyl records. Each copy is stamped, numbered, and comes in a hand-glued, riso-printed sleeve.

The Sixteen Steps is a project from British artist George Lanham who cut his musical teeth DJing and running events in the south east of England.He is also behaving the established InDisarray podcast series. Now based in Badalona, Spain, and making music heavily influenced by sequenced machine music, old and new. The first EP from the project was released on Cititrax earlier this year, with more to come in 2018.
