After ten years of producing music and ten years of being terrified of doing this : Tomas aka December finally releases his first album.

The myth of the first album can be heavy on musicians, putting a lot of pressure on artists thinking they have to craft the ultimate record, condensing and transcending their style in one perfect release.
Of course it’s not the case and it shouldn’t be.

It took years for Tomas to realise this and finally get it done.
Oliver Ho aka Broken English Club, who’s always been a crucial supporter of his work, helped him compile extracts from live shows, rough studio sessions as well as careful arrangements and the record slowly took shape : « DÉBUT » was born.

This first album exorcises his fear of confronting this format by channelling a raw electronic punk energy, showcasing his unique vocal signature, his strong minimalistic beats and the melancholic, romantic atmospheres he is known for.

But it’s also a tribute to his first loves and totems , electronic punk, industrial, sci-fi, ebm. It is a homage to where Tomas comes from, his musical origins.

It is a direct, simple,
forward, honest, powerful record and it feels like the beginning of a long series now that Tomas conjured these dark spirits.
This is only the debut.

Introducing Im Osten Geht Die Sonne Auf, the second full-length album release by duo Recht auf Rausch from Offenbach, Germany. This 12-track album features the captivating vocal stylings of Momo paired with Kalocain's masterful electronic production. Together, they create a cold and immersive environment that will leave you entranced from start to finish.

The album doesn’t follow homogenous guidelines nor conceptional requirements.
It’s a spontaneous expression of our moods facing obstacles of society.
Producing music to connect, grow, heal - a cathartic process.

While drinking tea and smoking cigarettes in our bedroom studio the procedure of making music starts with some sounds till we feel the direction of the song, then we begin to implant the lyrics.
The fast flow defines our collaboration which feels mostly symbiotic and unforced. In this way our creations become raw, honest and vulnerable.

From her window she watched them laugh and drink on the green. She'd long imagined herself there with them, sipping champagne in their designer outfits, not giving a thought to the outside world. Perhaps it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, perhaps underneath it all they were sad and lonely, maybe she was better off with her low paid job and her second hand clothes. Maybe she was happier...

Berlin-based musician Chris Imler delivers the next release on Benedikt Frey, Nadia D’Alò and Markus Woernle's R.I.O. label. Marking the fourth release on the imprint, following instalments from the label bosses Nadia and last year's various artists EP, Country Club brings two original hypnotic cuts to the table and two remixes from INIT, the project of Benedikt Frey & Nadia D’Alò, and Nyege Nyege's Debmaster that take the productions into darker realms.

"Chris Imler, who alternates between eternal street boy and dubious
magician, has succeeded in upgrading to a prophet with his third
record. The 12-inch, completed in January and released on May 15th
on vinyl, is exaggeratedly up to date. Though it would never occured
to him in his wildest nightmares while doing it, Chris Imler produced
the soundtrack for the state of emergency. "I measure time in
catastrophes / The scale is open ended / The house collapses, the
city burns / A laser beam leads me to the Country Club" says the
chorus of "Country Club". The music itself sounds like an emergency
from the first second on. Synths like deeply pitched sirens, a beat like
ground troops."

Following up Batozsek’s four slices on Vol 2, Ecdisis Vol 3 is fresh and ready to wreak some havoc. Some familiar names from the first volume of these series return for the third instalment as well as an otherworldly figure in the electronic music world. Up first is Vinilette, returning after her excellent appearance on Ecdisis Vol 1. A brood of beats take hold for Vinilette’s rework of Flux of Pink Indians’ “Nothing Is Not Done.” Tribal, this rhythmic romp is inspired by the 1986 piece on Uncarved Block. Layers of kick drums, bongos and toms echo and judder as a cold line circles and closes ever tighter. Following we have the head honcho, Juanpablo with his extended edit of Mac Blackout’s “Do The Dance In Your Head” which original version came out in Valencia’s imprint B.F.E. in 2011. The original song with its guttering guitar strings and nicotine stained vocals, proves ample ground for the Frigio boss to work with. The intro is given room, adopting a doom disco march, before the fearsome crash of strings. The lyrics, a lurid tale brimming with menace, are sweetened with twirling notes in this grisly stomper. The final attack sequence comes care of Mick Wills with his amazing cut of an unreleased track by Argentina’s great producer NGLY. Dark and looming this distortion streaked encounter will leave bodies and speaker cones raw. Three edits with one central vision. This is music that cuts to the bone, these are tracks that continue that intent first established by Ecdisis Vol 1. A collection with a serious impact, no doubt.

Our third release looks back to Italy to show the work of 'Religius Order', a young producer that we have followed for a long time and who already has a few works in which he travels through the Darkwave and the Industrial with ease and mastery.

This “Al Dirsi Di Osiride” that he presents through Industrial Possession includes nine tracks in which predominates dense and dark environments combined with slow rhythms that evoke pagan dances in basements full of smoke and vice.

All this produced with a good artillery of synths and analog drum machines that ooze bad slobber and that also take these songs to territories near the low-bpm EBM. The launch in K7 and digital format will be made from February 02, 2021 through our Bandcamp.

"Following up to his studio companion Trenton Chase’s latest LP ‘Planar Array’ released earlier in 2020, half of Manie Sans Délire June turns up on Artificial Dance with his anticipated new mini-album, ‘Horizons’. True to the signature synth-splattered sound of his and his duo, June’s newest wave-imbued manifesto has us swimming amidst an organized chaos of roughly extruded keyboard wizardry, punk-minded drum programming and a retro-futuristic headspace. 

Full streaming of "New Horizons”  Dry repetitive broken beat,  sequenced melodic synthlines, detached vocals and noise effects create a sense of space that relies on the futuristic gleam of June's  electronic landscape.
