Vagon Brei, aka Victor Ramos, known for great albums on Legowelt's Strange Life Records and Seattle's Further Records, is back with a full length CD album. A project inspired by and dedicated to Richard Feynman: the scientist, the teacher, the explorer, the visionary and the raconteur. His scientific curiosity, zest for life and eccentric personality were tried to be captured in music, produced by a true admirer of the man. A varied set of tracks, among the album you'll find mystic waves, ambient moods, synth soundtracks and electro cuts. Limited to 100 glass mastered and hand numbered CD copies. 'It's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong'.

It’s been two years since Tagwell Woods first appeared on W.T.  Records. His rich and refreshingly unique techno style caught the ears of the faithful. Finally, finally, the Londoner is back on vinyl with six pieces of his original brand of machine music. And the wait is worth it. Tracks like “Christmas” and “Training” pulsate with feeling. Others like “Rabbit Society” and “Chance” build on that emotion. Crisp percussion and heartening strings are weaved as lush moments and textures unfurl. The 12” is incredibly deep and flooded with sentiment. But don’t be mistaken into thinking Tagwell Woods deals in weight, instead it’s his lightness of touch that sings. “Tied Waves” is fragile and delicate, whispering before blossoming into being. The finale, the beautifully uplifting “Velocity”, has that same deftness. Mecca defies classification. Electronica. Techno. House. Acid. All are lovingly melted together to produce an absorbing and soulful second release, a release which is testament to the talent of this fledgling musician.

Limited ambient CD-album release by US producer Cinematic 74 a.k.a. Brooks Mosher, who is known for his excellent detroit / house productions on labels as Dolly and Other Heights. Though, his ambient recordings are less known till date. Under the alias Cinematic 74 we'll present a collection of ambient works, produced by Brooks between 2003-2015. 9 spacious and tranquil cuts, connected to harmonies and moments of bliss. Still, a variety within the album is captured, ranging from darker, remarkable synth-washed soundcsapes to more melodious moods with emphatic rhythm forms. Limited to 100 glass mastered and handstamped CD copies.

Only a few nuggets of information exist on The Valley and The Mountain. They/he/she hail(s) from Detroit. Previous work has featured on labels like WeMe and Shipwrec. That´s it. And the mysterious producer has been quiet of late, but the return is well worth the wait. Gentle Waters Keep Moving is the first full length outing from TVTM and their/his/her most absorbing work to date. Sharpened edges are rounded, 303 squawk softened and rhythms mellowed as ten tracks of melting music is served. The Detroit denizen calls on the sounds of the hometown. Techno is at the album´s heart but frosted touches of electro are present, warming acid twangs, house grooves with all being dipped in a refreshing undercurrent of electronica. A collection of tracks that draws you in, deeper and deeper, with every listen.

Photic Fields usher a new name into the fold, Switzerland’s Contra Communem Opinionem aka CCO. The Lux Rec and Mathematics alumni arrives with The Road to the Stars, five tracks of his trademark acid elegance. The ferocity of the 303 has been sheathed, percussion pared down with lush chords and deep warmth being the focus. House is the foundation from which CCO builds. Those time honoured sounds support cascading melodies and fragile keys for a 12” that borders between armchair abstraction, floor funk and the night sky.

Favouring the ravey side of techno, broken rhythms, low-swung electro and breakbeat, London-based Sybil turns in the the latest contribution to our mix series. 

Sybil is a founding member of the collective SIREN, a collection of DJs, artists with aims to “challenge and re-define current preconceptions within dance music.” Cutting her teeth on pivotal parties in the capital and beyond, Sybil drives to play hard and fast injected with an evident shot of fun. 

Easing us into the mix with explorative percussive tracks before rolling into moodier and heavier spacey electro and techno, buckle in for an hour-long sonic trip.

Samuel van Dijk aka Mohlao aka Multicast Dynamics aka VC-118A delivers a hauntingly good mix. Patient and prepared, slow and steady, this mix draws the listener in with masterful ease. VC-118A ducks and dives into the dark shadows of electro and the murky swamps of breakbeat. Nothing is rushed, the mix maintains an eery groove and a blend of proto-roboto gear and a chilling quiet. When we asked @marco_shuttle if he wanted to podcast an excerpt of his all night set from Public Records in February, he responded that he really wanted to publish the whole set start to finish. so here you have it, nearly 6 hours of Marco playing to the very intimate dancefloor at The Bunker Limited at Public Records in Brooklyn. This set is quite a bit different than what you might normally hear him play at a big techno club or festival, and we're thrilled to present this side of Marco's sound.
