fka lost winter

this is the first time I'm going to sit down and write a proper description relating to a release, I've almost always tried to just let the music speak for itself but I'm learning to find solace in transparency. I hope some contextual background will assist you or at least provide some sort of insight.

these songs were the sounds that played during long nights spent endlessly wandering. I remember late-night walks while trying to figure out what mix of moonlight I preferred and sitting by the river watching the waves crash while making the various decisions involved in this piece. I don't want to give pseudo-depth or get too far up myself but I want you to know that emotionally these songs mean a lot to me both audibly and conceptually and I sincerely hope they can provide someone else comfort the same way they have supported me.

I try very hard to finish each record before my birthday, therefore being able to turn a page, end an era and move on to the next. I don't know if I'm ready to move on yet though, the future is terrifying, as if jumping straight into an abyss, regardless I'll have to find out one way or another.

from the bottom of my heart I hope you enjoy this project, it's far from musical perfection or even anything particularly great but it's something that came directly from me and that alone gives me power to keep going.
