Reuben Vaun Smith is an English multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Leeds. He made a groundbreaking debut on Soundway Records three years ago, with a sun-soaked first album entitled ‘Warm Nights’ followed by a second album in 2021 called 'sound from the workshop' where Lo-fi Balearic meets sun-kissed guitar, summoning warm days and glistening seas.With "Milky Joe", Reuben continues his exploration of globally spirited funk. Ladonia is a micronation  proclaimed in 1996 by the artist Lars Vilks. In 1980, he began construction of two sculptures, Nimis and Arx in the Kullaberg nature reserve in north-west Skåne, Sweden. The location of the sculptures is difficult to reach, and as a consequence they were not discovered for two years, at which point the local council declared the sculptures to be buildings, and demanded that they should be dismantled.  Vilks appealed the decision of the council, but lost. He appealed repeatedly, and finally the case was settled, in the council's favour, by the Swedish government. Frank Agrario has given Ladonian citizenship this year and titled the label's second release to his new nation. 

The peaceful and deep nature that surrounds Nimis really impacted the sound. There is a certain deepnes  that dominates the tracks, still the beats are funky as usual and percussion and dub fx work is an undeniable Frank Agrario's trademark.
The Rmx comes from his Majesty RICK WADE that sparkled the release with his magic  Detroit's vibe, a masterpiece. 
Note : Anthem is the first recording of Ladonia's national anthem known to be pressed on vinyl.

Frank Agrario - I Played That Track Already

Ewan Pearson can do no wrong, can he? For the best part of twenty years now, the DJ, producer, writer, and academic's been recording, releasing, remixing, and playing the kind of sensate focused house that feels like the sweatiest, most loved-up high you've ever had from a best mate at sunrise, which is why he's a firm favourite here at THUMP UK. We even considered erecting a monument to him in the middle of the office by the HR team didn't seem happy about the prospect, so we stuck to sticking photos of him all over our desk. Which makes us look like either the massive fans we are, or deranged psychopaths planning an assassination.

Just for clarity, we're the former, and that's why we're so excited to be letting you listen to Pearson's typically sublime remix of "Sleep Stream" by Berlin duo Languages.

The EP that the track's taken from, which arrives on Days of Being Wild on the 2nd of December, is the pair's debut, and it's a very strong start. Pearson's floaty and fluttering, agile and fragile, sultry and sensual remix is one of the most pleasurable refixes we've heard all year and if you're not charmed by it's lilting cosmic disco charms then, well, there's no hope for you.

DJ, producer and remixer, he is resident dj in  the most important club Italian house Amnesia Club (Mi)",and furthmore he plays his dj sets in the most important clubs in Italy and other the world, Alessandro Cattenati, producer, remixer sound designer, groove digger 
dj and collector of  dusty Jazz, Funk, Disco and Brazilian records, Giovanni Guerretti, the musician, Gio plays the keys from old_Jazz to nu_Jazz. He is Disco and Funk in one person. All together  are a new discodope project influence by some old disco stuff, and back in a days 70s & 80s Italy's clubs scene like 
Cosmic, Typhoon and Baia Degli Angeli ...
In these years Phreek Plus One have realized 4 Ep for one of the most international label, The German Compost Records, and they have remixed for many labels 
and artists .
